Now is a good time to adopt a candidate. As of today there are at least 7 House seats open in the upcoming elections.
Fenton Bland's seat will have a special election on March 22. Five other delegates have announced their retirements:
Viola O. Baskerville D-71
James H. Dillard, II R-41
Glenn M. Weatherholtz R-26
These three voted against helmet choice this year.
Allen L. Louderback R-15
Robert F. McDonnell R-84
These two voted with us this year, as did Mr. Bland in the past.
I'm not sure what is happening with Marian Van Landingham.
All House seats are up for election in the fall. NOW is the time to talk to the candidates and find where they stand on protecting our rights.

It looks like we can add Pollard to the list that won't be back next year. _________________ Jim Cannon, Director
